We are looking to fill a Technician II - Laboratory Support Technician position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in Rahway, NJ. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off. This position does not offer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Inventory Support: Support the pilot plant inventory. Tasks include receiving deliveries, stocking raw materials and consumables in designated locations, communication with warehouse, and maintaining accurate inventory logs.
Shipping Activities: Packaging and delivering packages to the shipping department.
Equipment Calibration and Maintenance: Routine calibration and service of benchtop lab equipment.
Qualifications
Laboratory Technician 2 - A.S. (3-5 yrs exp) / No Degree (5-7 yrs exp) in laboratory or technical setting
Required Skills and Experience
Experience in regulated lab
Laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance
Inventory management or support
Sample or package shipping activities
Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with team members and external partners
Effective organizational skills, a strong work ethic and attention to detail are necessary to support the lab effectively
Display discipline in maintaining the lab and promptness in addressing problems
Compliance with appropriate safety and documentation standards
