GEMS – Payment Coordinator
DescriptionofRoles and Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting a team of Payment Specialists by performing advanced administrative and system processing tasks for multiple ongoing activities ensuring quality control in a regulated environment.
Provide advanced administrative support under general supervision to assist multiple Payment Specialists, including but not limited to, high volume email management, system workflow updates, document review and upload, drafting email templates and database quality control.
Must have the ability to self- assign and regulate individual workload while contributing to team goals, progress and timelines.
Keen attention to detail and understanding of team/client organizational system, urgency of items, overall timelines and technical skills needed to prioritize and self- delegate assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Complete high-demand tasks with appropriate turnarounds to ensure a highly efficient process flow.
Responsible for multiple systems record creation and maintenance as well as quality control of existing records and data.
Produces/completes various self-directed work assignments requiring advanced organizational ability, independent judgment, creativity, and solution focused options.
Independently utilize current work instructions to ensure processes are completed correctly and within client compliance. Provide creative suggestions for continuous process improvement, efficiency, and clarity.
Regularly review the completeness of all documents and system data for compliance with external and internal regulations. Ensure activities meet appropriate quality and compliance criteria.
Responsible for additional non-routine, non- repetitive assignments and projects of limited scope as assigned.
Minimum FTE Years of Experience
Without Bachelor’s Degree, one-year relevant experience and/or training orequivalent combination of education and experience required.
